Vivek Sundaram is a speaker, facilitator, coach, and educator who works at the intersection of purpose, presence, and human potential. His life journey spans continents and cultures: he spent his childhood years in Tanzania in East Africa, grew up in Mumbai, and later moved to the United States, where he trained as a computer scientist.

Over the next two decades, Vivek built a diverse career in technology, contributing to teams and products across Microsoft, Amazon, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google and startups. Just shy of his 40th birthday, he stepped away from the corporate world to explore a deeper question: What does it mean to live with clarity, intention, and joy?

This inquiry led him into a body of work that blends contemplative traditions, modern psychology, narrative exploration, and experiential learning. Today, Vivek helps individuals, organizations, and communities loosen rigid inner narratives, reconnect with their deepest values, and access a way of living he calls playful, purposeful presence.

His approach is simple, counterintuitive, and deeply human: that doing less often allows us to become more. Whether speaking on stage, facilitating group process, or coaching one-on-one, he invites people to question long-held assumptions, meet themselves with kindness, and create futures shaped not by pressure, but by presence.

Vivek divides his time between Mountain View, California, and India. He is also the father of two children—twelve-year-old Kabir and nine-year-old Krish—who are his daily reminders of curiosity, connection, and joy.
